The New Female was ringed as a chick in Warwickshire on 30 June 2016 making her just four years old.
This is probably her first pairing and is certainly the first confirmed sighting of her.
12 July 2020 – Video: Since the arrival of the New Female on 27 April, the pair have been bonding on a daily basis hopefully in preparation of a successful breeding season in 2021.
25 July 2020 – Video: the new Female making the first effort to remove one of the remaining two eggs from the scrape. This is the first attempt in over a month.
